I'm a professional Software Developer with 10 years of experience ranging from embedded vehicle controls to multi-site enterprise information systems.

Location
I live and work in Waterloo Ontario Canada, but firmly believe that for software development geography is meaningless.

Employment Status
I am employed, but always interested in hearing about interesting projects. Truthfully, I'm a mercenary and employment ain't what it used to be.

Specialties
My most marketable software skills are both in design and implementation. I'm a big fan of the 3 C's (C, C++ and C#). I also dig Ruby on Rails in a big way. Java is another favourite of mine when platform independence is a priority. I've also been known to automate work flows in Microsoft Office.

Hobbies
Honestly, I love to write software. I spend most of my time working on one project or another. It's my form of art. I have to love the projects I work on. It's much easier to work this way than try to grin and bare 9-5.
